Famaliá - Scene from Mapin & Guari Book (Vol. 4)
Famaliá – Scene from Mapin & Guari Book (Vol. 4) A scene from the Mapin & Guari book collection, written by Gustavo Rosseb and published by Barsa Editora. This illustration presents the Famaliá, inspired by the Brazilian legend of the *Diabinho da Garrafa* — a tiny supernatural being said to live trapped inside bottles and bound to whoever controls it. In *Mapin & Guari – Volume 4*, however, the creature is reimagined as a noisy but loyal little guardian. Constantly alert and trying to appear intimidating, the Famaliá behaves much like a tiny dog convinced it is protecting the entire world. Despite its size, the creature bravely watches over other misunderstood mythical beings, barking at real and imaginary dangers alike, bringing humor and warmth to the darker folklore atmosphere of the series. The scene reinforces one of the central ideas of *Mapin & Guari*: even the strangest creatures may simply be trying to protect one another. All Rights Reserved.
